“The Crime Rate of Isabel is manageable and it’s
generally peaceful”, Chief of Police Joel Camacho says in an interview.
There
were just minor cases recorded from January-December 2011 in Isabel. Though
crimes could never be avoided, the Police Unit of Isabel does it’s best to
prevent and respond to the needs of the Isabelanons.
To ensure safety and security in the town, Isabel PNP is conducting a daily and nightly patrol. “Every 10:00 pm until 4:00 am, our police officers are roaming around the town, from Barangay Tabunok until Barangay Apale”, Camacho added.

Force
Multipliers like Barangay Tanods also helped the Local Police Unit in maintaining
peace and security within the town. The 3 Functional Patrol Cars; the two from
PNP and one from LGU, also made their job in responding to crimes easier.
Camacho
further said that they need the
assistance of the Isabelanons in their efforts of keeping Isabel safe. “Hindi
naming kayang bantayan ang bawat isa sapagkat kunti lang kami, kaya kailangan
naming ang tulong ng bawat isa upang mas madaling ma solusyonan ang mga krimen
at matugonan ang bawat pangangailangan, aasahan ng lahat na mas pahihigpitan pa
naming ang seguridad nganyong 2012.”- Chief of Police Joel Camacho. MSSorote
